Professor Tomczak was always challenging us to think more critically as well as think about different perspectives. We had very open and respectful conversations about important topics such as racism, LGBTQ+ rights, and the social justice system.

I absolutely loved having her as a teacher. She is so understanding and kind. She made the environment of the class so bright that I loved coming every day! If I had a bad night/morning, once I left class I was always so much happier. I will miss her greatly

On the first day of class, Professor Tomczak made me feel super comfortable. Even though I have anxiety, I loved coming to class and learning about performing! I enjoyed her course(s) and the welcoming atmosphere. I am truly thankful for all I’ve learned from her. She is by far the best professor I’ve had!!

She did a phenomenal job on being relatable and understanding with the students. She built a real connection and bond with them to encourage them as students and more importantly as people.
